Solution is wrong

This solution is wrong.

Let AB=x. Use power of a point to show that:

(1/18)/(1/18+2r)=(x)/(2x)=1/2

1/18=1/36+r

r=1/36.

The current solution makes its mistake when it uses law of cosines for the second time.
