Manim is a package written for Python that can be used to produce versatile mathematical animation videos. This is the package used by popular YouTuber 3Blue1Brown for animating his videos. There are currently two versions of Manim, both open-source.
- Manim, the original version built and maintained by YouTuber 3Blue1Brown
- Manim Community Edition, a forked version maintained by the open-source community, with verbose documentation and easier installations - This is the version recommended for beginners
