The Mexican Mathematics Olympiad (also known as the Olimpiada Mexicana de Matemáticas, or OMM for short), is a series of tests that Mexican students participate. The contests gradually increase in difficulty and are used as a selection process for Mexico's IMO team, much like the AMC in the United States.

Structure

In each Mexican state, there are three contests of increasing difficulty. From these three, six students are selected per state to take the national contest. Advancing participants are trained until six of them are selected to represent Mexico in the IMO.
