Summer Program
The QuanTM Math Circle Summer Program is a 4-week math summer camp at Emory University in Atlanta, GA designed to introduce high school students to the complex world of college mathematics. Over the course of the program, students develop problem-solving abilities, critical-thinking skills, and logical reasoning through engaging activities, problem sessions, mathematical games and puzzles, and research projects. Participants will also attend lectures by Emory professors and enjoy recreational trips to local science and research centers.
In the fourth and final week, students choose a research topic and, in small groups, work with mentors to complete a research project in which they apply the mathematics and quantitative skills they have learned over the course of the program.
The QuanTM Math Circle is held in partnership with Emory's Institute for Quantitative Theory and Methods (or QuanTM). More information can be found on our website at http://www.mathcircle.us/summer/emory.
