Problem

Jose is $4$ years younger than Zack. Zack is $3$ years older than Inez. Inez is $15$ years old. How old is Jose?

Solution

Zack is $3$ years older than Inez, who is $15$. Therefore, Zack is $15 + 3 = 18$ years old.

Jose is $4$ years younger than Zack, who is $18$. Therefore, Jose is $18 - 4 = 14$ years old, and the answer is $\boxed{C}$.
