Kansas MathCounts
The Kansas MathCounts competition is held at the Bicentenial Center in Salina. Countdown is official.
History
- In 1993, Kansas was first place team at MathCounts nationals, and had the first place individual, Charleton Bosley, and the second place individual, who was first written. Kansas is still the state with the smallest population ever to win the national competition.
- Kansas used to do the master round, but it was taken out after a participant nearly fainted.
