Problem

Let $a, b, c, d$ be positive integers such that $a - b + c - d$ is odd and divides $a^2 - b^2 + c^2 - d^2$. Show that $a - b + c - d$ divides $a^n - b^n + c^n - d^n$ for all positive integers $n$.
