Images

Uploading Images

To upload an image, click the "Upload File" button, or just press alt+shift+u, both of which lead you to [1]. Once there, click the "Browse" button on the side of the first text box, and locate the image from your computer that you wish to upload. After selecting it, then enter any comments into the large text box. It is perfectly acceptable to refrain from entering comments.

Including Images on Pages

Once the image is uploaded, you should be redirected to the image page. The title of the page should be "Image:Your image name here". Now, navigate to the page that you wish to include the image upon. Insert the following code to include the image:

[[Image:image name here]]

Note that this syntax makes it look as if you're linking to the image. To link to an image page, insert the following code:

[[:Image:image name here]]

(Insert a colon before the image page name)
There are various formatting tricks that you may perform on images.
