The Tournament of Towns is a high school math competition held since 1980. The competition is international, but each city hosts its own competition, so participants do not have to travel.

Structure

The competition takes place in the Fall and Spring and is divided into two levels: O-Level (easier) and A-Level (harder). Many of the problems are proof problem, and the number of points per problem varies. The time to take the test is 5 hours. Afterwards, the answers are checked by the local jury in the city of the competition and/or the Central Jury in Moscow.
