Problem

The value of $\frac{3 \times 4}{6}$ is

$\text{(A)}\ 1 \qquad \text{(B)}\ 2 \qquad \text{(C)}\ 3 \qquad \text{(D)}\ 4 \qquad \text{(E)}\ 6$

Solution

$\frac{3\times{4}}{6}=\frac{12}{6}=2$ The correct answer is $B$ .
