Well let's start with a simple problem (maybe with the use of calculators)!
There are people in a town which is holding a two-day lottery. Each person will get a ticket with a set of different numbers, each being a positive integer between and , inclusive. If your ticket is drawn on the first day, you will win your prize, and you cannot win another prize because your ticket has been thrown out. You have taken a ticket that is pictured like this:
What is the probability that this ticket was drawn on either of the two days of the lottery?
