Algebra

In mathematics, algebra is the study of examining, manipulating, and solving equations, inequalities, and other mathematical expressions. Algebra revolves around the concept of the variable, an unknown quantity denoted by a letter. Many contest problems test one's fluency with algebraic manipulation.
