The state competition is held at the Bicentenial Center in Salina.
History
- In 1993, Kansas was first place team at nationals, and had the first place individual, Charleton Bosley, and the second place individual, who was first written.
- Kansas used to do the master round, but it was taken out after a participant nearly fainted.
