Unclear solution

I am a little confused. How did they get the solutions to '$cos(x) = 0$; x = $\frac{\pi}{2} + \pi * n$' and the other equation. The details of how they got those values seems to be omitted. Also how did they get $\frac{3\pi}{2}$. This solution does not appear to be complete, and those new to trigonometry may not understand what this is talking about. SnappyRiffs (talk)
