Hmmm... Since when is the Putnam exam a '''two-day''' exam? I administered it several times and every time it was a one-day event (as far as I remember, it is held on some Saturday in the beginning of December). I administered it several times and every time it was a one-day event (as far as I remember, it is held on some Saturday in the beginning of December). Then it may be just their mistake, not a recent change in rules. Anyway, what I said agrees with the information on this site (see "schedule"), so I'll change this part of the article --Fedja 20:49, 21 June 2006 (EDT)
The results are likely to get very long. It may be a good idea to create a Putnam historical results page to keep this one from getting cluttered (I did this for ARML and MathCounts and it seems to work well).--MCrawford 00:36, 22 June 2006 (EDT)
