I don't understand the sentence "However, this formula is rather unwieldy: it is not even known for which values of n is the number of partitions of n even, despite the presence of a formula!"

That is to say that the formula is so hard to work with that it can't even be used to tell when there are an even number of partitions. --ComplexZeta 10:46, 22 June 2006 (EDT)
