I joined AoPS in early 2013.  Before that I saw little glimpses of AoPS from my older brother, "negativebplusorminus".

My username, math_puppy comes from my favorite animal:  the puppy!  And of course, since I love math and love learning math, I decided to be math puppy.  I honestly couldn't believe that "math_puppy" was not taken yet by 2013 (with 10 years of AoPS).

Math puppy is currently living in one of the biggest and busiest cities in America.  She loves exploring new things and learning.

Math puppy’s favorite talent is math.  She has been a math lover for a long time.  Starting at kindergarten, she was doing 2-3 grades above her.  At fourth grade, she began taking the Art of Problem Solving courses for Algebra 1.  In 5th grade, she was doing Algebra 1 in her middle school and taking the Art of Problem Solving online course Algebra 2 at home.  In 6th grade, she got 2nd place for 6th grade for the AMC8 and got into the achievement and honor roll.  She has also taken the Art of Problem Solving Courses Prealgebra 1, Prealgebra 2, Algebra 1, Introduction to Counting and Probability, Introduction to Number Theory, Algebra 2, Mathcounts/AMC 8 Basic, Mathcounts/AMC 8 Advanced, and Introduction to Geometry.  She also applied to Math Circle High School Group 2015 and 2016 Levels A and B and did very well, got in, and went for a few weeks in the summer.

Outside of education, she loves riding her bike, swimming, playing chess, and playing UNO.  She also loves traveling all around the world.
