Georgia ARML has taken 4 teams to the University of Georgia site of the American Regions Mathematics League in recent years. (Before the addition of the UGA Site in 2008, Georgia ARML took 2 teams to the Penn State Site.) The organization's first three teams are required to compete in the A division, thanks to several years of strong performances by the second team, and the third team's seventh place finish in the B division in 2011. Historically, in 1992 Georgia won. In 2012, Georgia A1 came in sixth place in the A division.

The teams are selected by the Georgia ARML coaches. Students interested in making the team should attend many tournaments, do well on the AMC/AIME, and do well at the varsity state tournament, where the team members are actually selected.
