About the Doane University triMATHlon math contest
The Doane University triMATHlon Contest is for students in the 9th-12th grade. It consists of three stages: the Extreme Team Challenge, the Individual Written Exam, and the Math Bowl.
Extreme Team Challenge
3-person teams have 45 minutes to solve questions involving Doane’s campus and to provide written solutions.
Individual Written Exam
Consists of a 30 question, multiple choice exam with a time limit of 45 minutes.
Math Bowl
3-person teams compete against each other in a single-elimination style tournament.
